Fuzify policies
Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
Fuzify connects Shopify commerce to WordPress. This policy explains the information Fuzify processes for merchants and for shoppers using a Fuzify-powered WordPress storefront.
Information Fuzify processes
Merchant account and connection information
Fuzify may process your account email address, Shopify store domain, connected WordPress site URL and site name, subscription and entitlement status, plugin/WordPress/PHP version information used for compatibility and support, connection status, and related operational timestamps.
Shopify information
Fuzify uses Shopify APIs to provide storefront, product discovery, cart, checkout handoff, connection, and subscription features. It processes the product, collection, pricing, availability, variant, selling-plan, store, and subscription metadata needed for those functions.
Fuzify does not request protected Shopify customer data such as customer names, postal addresses, phone numbers, or customer-linked order records.
Support information
If you contact Fuzify, we process the name, email address, and message you submit so we can respond. The public contact form also uses a short-lived hashed value derived from the request IP address to limit abuse; that rate-limit record expires after approximately one hour.
Shopper data and Commerce Insights
Fuzify's Commerce Insights feature stores daily aggregate counts for events such as product views, successful adds to cart, and checkout starts. Those aggregate records do not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, email addresses, Shopify cart IDs, or URL query strings.
Fuzify uses browser cookies to maintain Shopify cart state between page views. The Shopify cart identifier is encrypted in an HttpOnly cookie and is not stored as a shopper cart record in the WordPress database. A small cart-present marker cookie may also be used to display cart state efficiently. The default cart-cookie lifetime is up to 30 days unless the merchant changes it.
When a shopper continues to checkout, checkout, payment, order, tax, shipping, and fulfillment information is handled by Shopify under the merchant's Shopify configuration and applicable Shopify policies.
How Fuzify uses information
We use information as reasonably necessary to provide and secure Fuzify, connect Shopify and WordPress, synchronize subscription and entitlement status, deliver managed updates, operate storefront features, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.
Fuzify does not sell personal information and does not use merchant or shopper information for third-party behavioral advertising.
Security
Shopify administrative credentials and refresh tokens used by the Fuzify control plane are encrypted at rest. The customer-facing WordPress plugin does not receive Shopify Admin API credentials. Fuzify uses scoped storefront credentials and secure site-pairing tokens for the functions a connected WordPress site requires.
Service providers and disclosures
Fuzify may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, security, backup, and other infrastructure needed to operate the service. Those providers process information only as needed to perform services for Fuzify. Shopify separately processes commerce information under its own agreements and policies.
We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect Fuzify, merchants, users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
Retention
Merchant account, connection, subscription, and operational records are retained while needed to provide Fuzify and for reasonable security, support, accounting, and legal purposes. Store and site connection data is removed or disassociated when required by Shopify's privacy workflows or when it is no longer reasonably needed.
Commerce Insights aggregate counts remain in the merchant's own WordPress database until the merchant removes the applicable Fuzify data. Contact messages may be retained as needed to resolve the request and maintain appropriate support records.
Privacy requests and Shopify privacy webhooks
Fuzify implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction. Because Fuzify does not persist protected Shopify customer records, customer requests generally do not require deletion of a Fuzify customer profile. Shop-redaction requests remove applicable Fuzify store and connection data handled by the control plane.
To ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your Fuzify account, contact Fuzify. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing a request.
International processing
Fuzify uses internet-based service providers, so information may be processed in the United States or other locations where those providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used for cross-border processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Fuzify changes or legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
